Initial stages of digging for a new underground natural gas line.



The facade on the north side of Place Riel is torn down. The ground area will be the exact location for the new building addition.



Meanwhile inside, the hoarding of Upper Place is completed running all the way across the north side of the level, cording off the area where construction will begin soon.



Those who went down the Place Riel escalators might recognize this point of view. It's now used as a passage for construction workers only.

The old Centre Shop in Lower Place - now permanently closed and largely evacuated. The area will be renovated and converted into new vendor space.
